Damanpreet Singh ("we", "our", or "us") built the Free WiFi app (the "App") as a free, ad-supported application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Location Data

The App collects your device's location data to display free WiFi networks near you. Location is used solely to provide core functionality and is not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to serve nearby WiFi results.

• When in use: We access your location while the App is open to show nearby WiFi networks.
• You can revoke location access at any time through your device's Settings.

Advertising Identifiers

With your permission (via the App Tracking Transparency prompt), we may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to serve personalized ads. You can opt out at any time through your device's Settings.

Device Information

We may automatically collect certain device information including device model, operating system version, and IP address for analytics and crash reporting purposes.

Purchase Information

If you make in-app purchases, transactions are processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment information.

• To display free WiFi networks near your location
• To serve advertisements through Google AdMob
• To analyze app usage and improve performance via Firebase Analytics
• To identify and fix crashes via Firebase Crashlytics
• To process in-app purchases and manage ad-free experiences

• Firebase Crashlytics — for crash reporting
• Firebase Realtime Database — for storing WiFi network data

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared with the third-party services listed above solely for the purposes described in this policy. These services are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any purpose other than providing their services to us.

5. Data Retention

We retain collected data only for as long as necessary to provide our services. Analytics and crash data are retained according to the default retention policies of Firebase.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Opt out of ad tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt or device Settings
• Revoke location permissions at any time through device Settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
